Associate Prof. Miguel González-Loureiro (European Ph.D) research interests lie in the intersection of strategy, internationalization and entrepreneurship with cognitive behavioural science. Essentially, this intersection deals with how managers make strategic decisions in organizational settings and for specific purposes. He has contributed to transferring knowledge to the regional productive system in more than 48 projects, which has entailed roughly more than 1 million € since 2000. Examples of these projects are the Strategic Plan for the foundation of the Cluster of Wood and Timber Industry, for the Cluster of Thermal Tourism, or for the Cluster of Logistics and Transportation of Goods. He also contributed in the Strategic Plan of Innovation for the Galician region. His contributions also appeared in a series of monographs that provided strategic analysis for 17 industrial sectors of Galicia. As an entrepreneur, he was the founder of a small consulting firm and served as the director for 8 years, while he was a part-time lecturer at the university.
