Introduction & History
SMART INCUBATOR project is an online digital platform where entrepreneurs and SMEs create their own network and improve the skills needed for success in the business life. It is jointly developed and managed by two non-profit organisations: Business Start-Up Centre Bar in Bar, Montenegro and International Communities Organisation in London, the UK. Smart Incubator is an entrepreneurship and professional training digital initiative that provide services to entrepreneurs in Montenegro and other English-speaking learners. It aims to offer courses at low cost or no cost to ensure trainings are available to everyone. It also seeks to launch new training courses online and create sustainable partnership across the international-cities. At SMART Incubator platform you can find digital content like: digital business and IT trainings, new tools and technologies in developing digital business model, success stories and forums where you can exchange ideas.
BSC Bar
BSC Bar is NGO that was established with the mission to support the creation of an enabling environment for economic growth through the creation of small and medium-sized enterprises in Montenegro. Our goals are to: 1. Facilitate the creation and growth of small and medium-sized enterprises in Montenegro and to increase employment; 2. Support the development of the education system to better meet the needs of the labor market with special focus on innovation and innovative capacities; 3. Influence the reduction of business barriers with our programs - providing easier access to financial capital for start-ups, to international networks and to knowledge; 4. Support international collaboration: technology transfer, joint ventures, access to international market. From 2010 within BSC Bar operates Business Incubator which provides office space and co-working space for start-up companies, freelancers and SMEs. Our activities are: business skills trainings, business plan competition for start-up and growth, incubator support for entrepreneurs, micro-loans, international networking through Enterprise Europe Network and mentoring for SMEs.
International Communities Organisation (ICO)
International Communities Organisation (ICO), is a human rights research and innovation hub; a not for profit organisation based in London. ICO aims to empower communities, guided by its vision of self-determination and the values of development and human rights. It fosters an environment where organisations within these communities can overcome the barriers they face, therefore fulfilling their potential to develop and create positive change for their local communities. ICO has developed the ICO-IMPACT Programme by combining human rights principles with developmental strategies for empowerment, development and better governance. https://internationalcommunities.org
